GCSMPS has teamed with the The Brewery District Community Urban Redevelopment Corporation (BDCURC) to bring you a spectacular tour of our rich brewing history.  Guests will be able to enjoy the Cellarman's Tour.

Starting at the Christian Moerlein Malthouse Tap Room, THE CELLARMEN'S TOUR shares the stories of several historic Cincinnati breweries as well as Cincinnati’s past and present brewing traditions. We begin with the men who built and worked in nineteenth century breweries, exploring dangerous working conditions, grueling hours, and the growing divide between the workers who made the beer and the “Beer Barons” who built fortunes by producing America’s best brews.  Guests emerge from a trip deep into the subterranean lagering cellars and tunnels of the Schmidt Brothers / Crown Brewery with an understanding of how technology and bottled beer started to change the way we drank in the 1900s.

We will then head back Christian Moerlein Malthouse for a few beers - first round on us!

We will also learn about the Brewery Heritage Trail, an exciting project spearheaded by BDCURC.

***This event is limited to 40 guests, we will close registration once we reach 40. Due to the nature of the event, there are no walk-ins for the tour, but all guests are welcome to meet for a drink at happy hour.
