    SMPS is convening some of Cincinnati's leading branding experts to discover little things you can do to enhance your firm's existing brand, and what to do when you embark on the daunting task of a major rebrand.

    Join us for a lively panel discussion highlighting perspectives on branding from three different types of creative firms. We'll consider topics including:

    • How to determine if your brand needs "tweaking or trashing"
    • How to thoughtfully select a branding/design firm. What to look for in a partner
    • What costs are involved and how to apply new branding features to your suite of printed collateral, branded merchandise, signage, etc.
    • How to define a successful rebrand or branding exercise

    Rumor has it that Jay Becker graduated from Xavier University, School of Business Administration with a Bachelors Degree in Finance. There are confirmed sightings of him on the floor trading and managing portfolios over an 18 year period at the Chicago Board of Trade. He admits to playing the role of an investment banker, breeding thoroughbred horses, tearing
    down log cabins and partnering in a software company. He never once had
    any fun until his world changed upon co-founding BLDG, bridging his diverse
    business background with unmatched creativity. Jay is a high energy out-of-the-box thinker who is constantly overflowing with ideas and concepts that
    make businesses better.

    Dave Townsend - Intrinzic

    After more than 25 years in the agency business, you’d think a person would have seen about everything, but nothing stays the same for long and the old saw is true, change is the only constant. Dave certainly has experienced lots of change over the years in a career that spans all aspects of strategic communications from advertising and branding, to digital marketing and employee communications. He has helped counsel brands ranging from Anheuser-Busch, Trans World Airlines, Disney, Tide, Ethyl Chemical, Folgers, Square D, among many others. This broad-based experience has helped him to not only be a marketing specialist, but also become a business problem solver and change management resource. His career has allowed him to touch all aspects of agency management and he continues to spend most of his time ensuring all the pieces to “the puzzle” fit together – using culture as a business differentiators.
