This time of year is exciting for the Greater Cincinnati chapter. We have great programs and education events on the horizon and are planning for our 35th Anniversary Gala, which is right around the corner. Three great opportunities for you to learn and network with other leaders in the A/E/C industry.
Next week, we have our last education session for the programming year. “What the Hell?” will focus on managing up the corporate ladder and having difficult conversations with management. The May 8 event is at City Hall and is an event you won’t want to miss.
There are still a few spots left for the Cincinnati Museum Center Union Terminal tour on May 17 where you can get a behind the scenes look at the rehabilitation of this iconic city structure. If you haven’t registered already, do so quickly as spaces are filling up fast.
Also, mark your calendars and join us on June 14 as our chapter celebrate 35 years of service to the A/E/C industry. As part of this celebration, we will recognize our peers for all the remarkable things they do every single day to support their firms and our industry.
Nominations are open for Business Developer of the Year, Marketer of the Year, and the Rising Star Award. Our chapter will make a $35 contribution to the SMPS Foundation in the name of each winner to honor our 35th anniversary. We will also recognize outstanding marketing endeavors with our new Greater Cincinnati Marketing Communications Award (MCA). This award will highlight remarkable marketing endeavors, including rebranding, marketing campaigns, and web site improvements and more. Submit your firm’s outstanding marketing work and be one step closer to preparing for future MCA awards at the national level.
And just because our programming year is winding down, doesn’t mean our summer will be any less remarkable. In July, we’ll hold another member breakfast across the region and our annual Footgolf event will take place on August 23 so start getting your teams ready!
Thank you for all you do to make our chapter a success and we look forward to seeing you at an event soon.
